Spring is here

Today, I had such an incredible light in my studio.. It felt like all my books and objects were shining in this beautiful sunlight.

I created this beautiful spring illustration. This lady is very gentle, soft and springy.. she is carrying spring flowers on her head making everyone amazed by her beauty. Wherever she goes, people start falling in love.. petals and flowers are falling and love spreads all around. Let your heart blossom like a royal garden and be filled with this beautiful sunlight.

I’ve been trying to paint a lot for these past weekends and delegating a lot of my time to my book. My manuscript is now finished and my editor is editing it!! I’m very excited about it. This book will be fully illustrated by me.

A lot of exciting projects are coming up and I will soon be updating you!

Dancing in the air

It’s getting so beautiful outside with the arrival of the early spring…

My heart overflows with so many emotions. I have a desire to dance and create beautiful paintings.
A few days ago I got so inspired about learning how to decorate beautiful boutiques, I need to learn more about it.
I feel that there is so much to be created, so much to be said and written. I started writing my book on inspiration a few months ago and then stopped for a while. I knew that this would get my thoughts together and with a swirl bring me to a new level. I feel that I’m now ready to continue writing it and so much hope to publish it this year. It’s going to be so beautiful and divine.

I want to travel more and go back to France. This place pulls me like a magnet, it’s so hard to control. Just being there inspires me so much… indulging the beauty of the sunlight and the atmosphere shining all around making everything look so bright and joyful.
I feel so much love, so much admiration and inspiration.

I remember walking in Monaco and I asked God to show me how to be inspired and see paintings all around me. It was so beautiful what He showed me, I couldn’t wait to start painting. I saw this beautiful vision of a lady gazing from the terrace and looking at the mountains, she was so beautiful and so serene. Flower petals were falling on her from the sky and she was smiling..

I have a desire to fly.

Dream walk in Saint Paul

Today, was such an unforgettable day filled with so much light and inspiration.

Sain Paul de Vince is an incredible place full of history, beautiful galleries and sunlight. Spending this week in France was so heart warming, so delightful. It was truly a blissful moment. Every time I come here, my heart blossoms like a beautiful rose in a royal garden. I have a desire to paint so many beautiful paintings filled with love. Tomorrow, I’m coming back to Canada and cannot wait to sit by my fireplace and dream. I am a big dreamer that’s for sure. I’m overwhelmed with all these beautiful feelings, it feels as if I am flying somewhere in the clouds, as if I have wings.

Enjoy these beautiful pictures, I wish they could reflect the beauty of this gorgeous place but to completely experience it you have to go there!

“Fashion Art” Exhibition – Carré Doré Gallery Monte-Carlo 2012

Exhibition in Monaco, Monte Carlo (Vernissage – March 7)

After the success of our first exhibition devoted to “Fashion Art” and our International Women’s Day event on 8 March 2011, the Carré Doré Gallery has decided to repeat the experience by combining the two events and exhibiting a new group of internationally renowned artists whose works are inspired by some of the biggest names in fashion, and some of whom have collaborated with such well-known names as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Louis Vuitton, Fiorucci and Lady Gaga, among others.

Fashion becomes Art in the paintings of Amylee (France), the illustrations of Naja Conrad Hansen (Denmark), the fashion photography of Daniela Glunz (Germany), the silk screen prints of Olga Tobrelutz (Russia), the sublimely creative shoes of Kobi Levi (Israel) and the works of young Russian-born artist Daria Jabenko.

Private viewing exclusively by invitation: 7 March 2012 at 6:30 pm, on the eve of International Women’s Day, under the patronage of Baroness Cécile de Massy and the Monaco Fashion Chamber.

In the presence of members of the Russian Cultural Club of Monaco, various political and cultural organisations, and the artists.

- Enrico Buccella, the creator of SIGILLI perfumes, will scent the air with his intoxicating fragrances for women and offer a preview presentation of two new creations in tribute to two women of the past… – Kobi Levi, shoe designer, will present seven superb one-of-a-kind creations. Known for his extravagance, Lady Gaga chose his now-famous “Double Boots” to wear in a music video.

Beautiful Saturday

I absolutely love Saturdays, the snow is slowly falling and my flowers are blooming in my studio. I’m starting a new painting today, it will be called “Dreams” which is all about surrendering our dreams to God. It will be so beautiful, I can already see it in front of me. I promise! This time, I’ll poste a picture of it once it’s finished.

Friday Evening… Bookstore, Celebration, Wine and Jazz…

It’s getting colder and colder outside, it really feels like winter is around the corner and I’m so inspired to go to the bookstore tonight for at least half an hour and have a freshly brewed coffee, indulge flipping through the pages of the new books, and relax.

Today is a special day, it’s been 15 years that I moved to Canada! It’s going to be a night of celebration with wine, candles and jazz dancing! Really looking forward to start cooking my signature chicken!

Outside my window

I have such a desire to curl under a cozy blanket next to my fireplace and enjoy a cup of lavender tea with French roses. It’s beautiful outside, leaves are slowly falling and dancing with the wind. It this perfect time of year to write down what you would like to let go of and release, just like trees let go of their leaves. They are getting ready for the winter season, beautiful time for dreaming and writing your wishes on paper and preparing yourself for spring blossom.

Inspiring message from Design Thinkers Conference

This week was so incredible, it was filled with lots of learning and inspiration. I had a chance to attend the Design Thinkers conference in Toronto where the brightest and the most talented designers presented their work and shared their thoughts on design, life and future. Jessica Hische particularly amazed me. She is so young and so talented; I could feel passion and inspiration flowing from her. She was sharing her life story, showing her beautiful work and sharing stories. What really touched me was when she said: when you have an idea, just get up and do it! Don’t wait until everything is ready for you to work. You have to work whenever you have a little bit of time, don’t waste your time. She gave some of her examples of how she was working at the beginning of her career. She had a job from 9 to 6, then went home and was working on her own and freelance projects till 3am!! Practically everyday! This really touched me; I could imagine how many beautiful things we could create if we only spent more of our time on bringing our ideas to life. For example, I’ve been thinking about creating a journal for years, it’s been sitting around for all this time.

After listening to her, I understood that when we get an idea, we need to rush and bring it to life. If you make a mistake, so what, you learn from it. Next time you do it, you’ll be so much better or otherwise, you’ll be standing at the same place for years. I feel like these waves of inspiration and wisdom touched me so much, I need to rethink my ways of working. I’m so happy that I’m going to have my own studio in a month. Believe it or not, I never had a studio!! Dreams come true. So I’ll be able to start working harder and spend more time on projects.

My suggestions to you, don’t wait, just get up and do it. Think of things that you’ve been postponing for so long, think of your big dreams, these goals that you are dreaming to achieve. You need to do work and bring them to life. I hope this message inspires you to rethink the way you work, the way you look at your work and encourages you to make this extra step towards your goals and dreams.
